Resync Framework · Named IP

The Resync Quality Intelligence Framework.

Five dimensions that determine whether an organisation can trust the software it ships — measured, scored, and comparable. Get your RQI score in five minutes, free, right on this page.

Why score quality at all?

Global consultancies sell quality engineering through platforms and accelerators. Most organisations don’t need a platform — they need an honest answer to one question: if we shipped tomorrow, what would we be trusting, and could we prove it? The RQI Framework turns that question into a number you can track, benchmark, and improve — built from what Resync’s engineers see inside New Zealand’s hardest programmes.

Five dimensions. One score.

Each dimension is scored 0–100. Your RQI score is the average — and the profile matters more than the number.

01 — Quality

How good is the software?

Defect escape rates, coverage that means something, and whether go-live decisions run on evidence or optimism.

02 — Automation

How efficiently can quality be validated?

Regression speed, automation coverage, and whether a green run is a trusted signal or a shrug.

03 — Risk

What could actually fail?

Whether effort follows consequence — risk-based coverage, performance and security discipline, independent verification of vendor work.

04 — AI

Where does AI accelerate — and endanger — quality?

AI-assisted testing maturity, controls on AI-written code, and assurance over the AI features you ship.

05 — Governance

Can you prove your decisions?

Audit-ready evidence, quality gates that hold under pressure, and a decision trail a board or regulator would accept.

From score to action.

The self-assessment is your honest mirror. The full RQI engagement is the independent version: Resync’s engineers score all five dimensions against evidence — not self-report — then hand you a prioritised roadmap, sequenced by risk, with the business case for each move. It pairs naturally with our QA Audit and AI Systems Assurance practices.

Frequently asked questions

Is the online RQI assessment really free?

Yes — and anonymous. It runs entirely in your browser; Resync receives nothing unless you choose to get in touch.

How is the full RQI assessment different?

The online version scores what you believe. The full engagement scores what Resync’s engineers can evidence — reviewing your pipelines, test assets, defect data, and governance records — and delivers a prioritised improvement roadmap.

What does a good score look like?

Organisations scoring 80+ run quality as an engineering discipline. Most NZ enterprises we assess start in the 40–65 range — solid practice with gaps that show up under deadline pressure, usually in automation or governance.
